Meet the Hobby Plus CR18P ARKTOS V1.5 6×6 Flatbed RC Truck (Green) —a highly capable and realistic utility crawler designed for enthusiasts who want more than just a standard RC vehicle. This upgraded V1.5 version introduces improved durability, refined electronics, and enhanced upgrade potential. One of the biggest highlights is its brushless-ready ESC system , allowing users to upgrade to a brushless setup easily without changing the transmitter or receiver—making it future-proof and highly versatile. Built on a robust 6-wheel drive (6WD) platform , the ARKTOS delivers superior traction and stability across rough terrain. The portal axle design increases ground clearance, helping the truck tackle obstacles, rocks, and uneven trails with ease. The truck features a remote-controlled 2-speed transmission , allowing you to shift between low-speed crawling and faster trail driving. With an ultra-low gear ratio in first gear, it provides excellent torque for technical climbs and heavy loads. What truly sets this model apart is its utility-focused design . The flatbed comes with adjustable side rails, wheel chocks, and deployable ramps , making it perfect for carrying scale loads or recovery tasks. A fully functional rear-mounted winch adds another layer of realism and functionality. The LED lighting system includes multiple modes such as indicators, brake lights, reverse lights, and hazard lights—bringing the truck to life, especially during night runs. Constructed with metal drivetrain components, aluminum chassis rails, and big bore oil-filled shocks , the ARKTOS V1.5 is built for durability and smooth performance. The counter-rotating driveshaft system helps reduce torque twist, ensuring stable climbs even under heavy load. Finished in a rugged green color scheme with detailed scale accessories , this 6×6 crawler stands out both on the trail and on display.
